The newChevrolet Silverado 1500 is available in various trims such as – WT,
LS, Custom, LT, LTZ, and High Country. It has the best-in-class available V8
Horsepower and available fuel economy.
Power
2018 Silverado 1500 has a lineup of
powerful small block engines. The block engines are integrated with fuel-saving
technologies such as Active Fuel Management, Continuously Variable Valve Timing
and Direct Injection which provides a perfect blend of efficiency and
capability.
The three engines of Silverado 1500
include 4.3L V6, 5.3L V8, and 6.2L V8. The 4.3L EcoTec3 V6 Engine gives an
output of 285 Horsepower and 305 lb.-ft Torque. It supports the towing
capability of 7,600 lbs. The 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 Engine has a towing capacity of
11,100 pounds and gives 355 HP power and 383 lb.-ft of Torque.
The most powerful engine attached with
Silverado 1500 is the 6.2L EcoTec3 V8 Engine that gives best-in-class
Horsepower of 420 HP and Torque of 460 lb.-ft. It provides an EPA-estimated
fuel economy of 15 MPG in the city and 21 MPG on the Highway. Built with
High-strength Steel and available trailing technologies, Silverado offers
durability and strength along with confidence while driving when you put 12,500
lbs. of load on it.
Technology
Chevrolet has added technologies of a
luxurious car in a pickup truck like Silverado 1500 to feel the power and
luxury at the same place. Roll-up windows, vinyl seats & flooring, HID
headlights, High-end Air conditioning, and Smart Cruise Control are some of the
features never found in a pickup but are available with Silverado 1500.
A 7” Diagonal Color touchscreen with
Chevrolet My Link audio system across few trims and many have an 8” Diagonal
Color touchscreen as standard. 8” Display infotainment system with available
Navigation. All the infotainment systems support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
connectivity. Other available high-tech entertainment systems are Rear-seat
Entertainment system with Blu-Ray/DVD player, 6-speaker audio system, Bose
Sound system, SiriusXM audio, and Bluetooth connectivity.
Special Editions
Chevrolet released various special
editions such as Centennial Edition, Redline, Rally 1, Rally 2, Midnight, High
Desert, Special Ops and many more. The enhanced versions of Silverado 1500 are
eye-catching editions that make it look muscular and bold.
The Centennial Edition features unique
heritage badging, chrome accessories and Z71 version. Black and Red accents of
Redline Edition makes you stand out in a crowd. Redline Silverado is designed
with an urban-inspired design with black grille, surrounds and mirror caps.
Silverado's Midnight Edition with black
body, styling, bumpers, and grille. Rally 1 and Rally 2 have iconic rally
striping on the hood and sides with 20” wheels and 22” wheels respectively.
Custom Sports Edition is class, choose from Black or Summit White. Body-color
grille with bumpers & Chrome accents adds a distinctive touch to this
premium special edition.
For outdoor enthusiasts, Chevrolet
collaborated with Realtree® to produce Silverado Realtree® Edition with its
graphics on the body and interiors. This truck is wired for the wild to take
you from nearby lakes to the far edges of the woods.
Other special editions of Silverado
include custom designed & Navy SEAL partnered 'Special Ops' edition, winter
weather based 'Alaskan' Edition, and rough black colored 'Black Out.'
